Q: Are all of your jewelry pieces real?

Absolutely! We guarantee the stones and metals of all our jewelry are genuine and of the finest quality. Prior to shipment, each piece is professionally inspected and cleaned, so you can feel confident it will shine and sparkle with brilliance.

Q: Is the jewelry insured?
|
Yes, the jewelry is insured throughout the entire process. Shipping insurance covers the rental jewelry while it is in transit with no deductible to you. While the jewelry is in your possession, the jewelry continues to be insured however it is subject to a deductible of 33% of the full retail value of the jewelry. As you might expect, while the jewelry is in your possession, we trust that you will handle it with the utmost of care, just as you would if it were your own.

Q: What if the style I want is not currently available on my occasion date?
|
Contact us and let us know which piece you want and you’re the date of your occasion. We continually review and add additional jewelry rental pieces to our inventory in popular styles based on current trends. We might be able to secure the piece you want or help you find a suitable alternative.

Q: I see a lot of bridal imagery on your site. Is it okay to rent jewelry for other occasions?
|
Of course! We started our business with a focus on brides and they continue to be a big part of our client base. However, in talking to clients, we found that many were renting our diamond jewelry for other occasions besides weddings. To meet their needs, we’re working to add more jewelry pieces appropriate for other special occasions such as formal parties, bar mitzvahs, anniversaries and even a few just for a girl’s night out. We make it fun and easy to look your best, regardless of the occasion.

Q: How will my jewelry arrive?
|
Your jewelry rental pieces will be delivered directly to you. Adorn will notify you via e-mail when your order is shipped and confirm the date of its arrival. Also, because we require a signature for delivery, select a shipping address where someone will be available to receive and sign for the shipment during the daytime.

Q: Do I need to pay for shipping or insurance when I return the jewelry?
|
No. Adorn will include a pre-paid and pre-addressed return package in your shipment. All you will need to do is repackage the jewelry and take it to a UPS Office or Store for shipment.

Q: What is a Security Deposit and why do you do it?
|
Adorn places a reserve on your credit card equal to 5% of the retail value of the jewelry the week of your shipment. This serves as a deposit while you have the jewelry rentals in your possession. The security deposit amount will be displayed during the “Review Order” stage of checkout, before the order is actually placed. As described in the Terms & Conditions, clients will be notified if an increase in their Security Deposit is required. If you do not agree to the increase in your security deposit we will cancel your order and you will receive a full refund.

Q: What happens if I don’t return the jewelry by the designated time?
|
Due to the nature of our business, it’s very important that you return your jewelry rentals on time. Late fees are outlined in our Terms and Conditions, but our clients have established a track record of returning the pieces they borrow in a timely manner. We expect that you’ll do the same out of consideration for other clients.

Q: Is the jewelry cleaned?
|
After every rental, each piece is hand inspected and cleaned.

Q: Your rental Terms & Conditions state that you may run a credit check or background check on me. Why is this done?
|
Adorn does reserve the right to perform credit checks and/or background checks on its clients. The reason we do this is because of the high value of the goods we are renting. It is important for us to be able to ensure we are renting to legitimate clients and not engaging in criminal activities of any kind. In some cases we may contact you for additional information in order to run a complete check. We also reserve the right to cancel your order and/or increase your security deposit amount, in which case you will be contacted beforehand. You are welcome to contact us if you have any further questions regarding these practices. If you do not wish to have a credit and/or background check run, please contact us and we will cancel your order and you will receive a full refund.

Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?
|
Adorn does not ship outside of the United States. If you are having a foreign destination wedding, we can offer you an extended rental so the jewelry can be shipped earlier to you in the United States and a later return so you can return the jewelry to UPS once you arrive back in the United States. Keep in mind there are additional fees for an extended rental. You will need to contact us to place this type of extended rental.
